Sodium Persulfate is a white, crystalline, odourless salt or crystalline powder with the density of 2.59 g/cc. It is used as initiator for the Polymerization of monomers and as a strong oxidizing agent in many applications.

It has the particular advantage of being almost non – hygroscopic of having a particularly good storage stability as a result of its extremely high purity and of being easy and safe to handle.

Sodium Persulfate (NaPS/SPS) is a stable, strong oxidising agent and it generates excellent free radical in aqueous media. AMINISHA offers the product in the form of a colourless, odourless, crystalline powder. NaPS/SPS from AMINISHA has good storage stability and enables safe handling due to its high purity and low water content.

NaPS/SPS can decompose under unfavourable conditions due to high it’s oxidation potential. The product is not flammable but has a fire-promoting effect as it releases oxygen.

STORAGE & HANDLING

Only use suitable containers that are approved specifically for the substance/product. Do not store with combustible and reducing agents. Do not store together with acids and alkalies. Keep the container tightly closed in a dry place and a well-ventilated area. Protect from heat/overheating. Use only in well-ventilated areas. Work under the hood. Do not inhale the substance. Avoid direct contact with eyes and skin. Avoid the formation and deposition of dust. Use appropriate PPEs. The product is not combustible but can promote fire. Keep away from all sources of ignition.
