Ammonium persulfate (APS), a stable, strong oxidising agent and it generates free radical in aqueous media. AMINISHA offers the product in the form of a colourless, odourless, crystalline powder. APS from AMINISHA has good storage stability and enables safe handling due to its high purity and low water content. Ammonium persulfate is highly soluble in water.

APS can decompose under unfavourable conditions due to high oxidation potential. The product is not flammable but has a fire-promoting effect as it releases oxygen, therefore, it should be stored under certain conditions. First, it should be stored in dry and well ventilated room. Secondly it should keep away from sunlight, heat sources and moisture.

STORAGE & HANDLING:


Only use suitable containers that are approved specifically for the substance/product. Do not store with combustible and reducing agents. Do not store together with acids and alkalies. Keep the container tightly closed in a dry place and a well-ventilated area. Protect from heat/overheating. Use only in well-ventilated areas. Work under the hood. Do not inhale the substance. Avoid direct contact with eyes and skin. Avoid the formation and deposition of dust. Use appropriate PPEs. The product is not combustible but can promote fire. Keep away from all sources of ignition.
